Engage Opportunities
At Claybon Elementary, learning extends beyond the traditional classroom through Engage Opportunities, an innovative program that allows every Kindergarten through 4th grade student to explore their interests as part of the regular school day. Students participate in their chosen Engage Opportunity for 60 minutes each day, giving them meaningful, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage personal growth.
Claybon students can choose from three exciting pathways: Soccer, Health Science & Biomedical, and Music Production. Whether developing teamwork and leadership on the field, exploring the world of healthcare through interactive STEM learning, or discovering creativity through music technology and production, each opportunity is designed to help students uncover new passions while building skills that support future success. Engage Opportunities reflect Forney ISD's commitment to providing every student with engaging, interest-based learning experiences that inspire a lifelong love of learning.
